Eva

I love this picture of Eva. I don't often open the windows, and so it was just really exciting to look at the window and smell things! Wow!

Orange

I'm ready for Halloween! I have a bright orange chair and a black cat! I dyed the cover for my Ikea chair orange. I was hoping for a bit darker orange, but ah well. Eva really likes it!

Eva Montage

I show the kids at work how to do different things with photos and I always use Eva as my example. I've been wanting to put it all together in a slideshow for awhile. Animoto was so easy and fun.

Eva

Eva's taken to lying on her back either on the bed with me or on the floor. Sometimes her tongue hangs out a little, which just makes me laugh. She seems to be settling in quiet well to the new apartment.

Mo & Eva

They've been sleeping closer together now that it's gotten a bit colder around here. They are so cute when they snuggle.

Eva Sleeping

We bought this floor pillow a couple of months ago, and now the cats, and sometimes Tony, fight over who gets to use it. Eva won last night, and looked so cute all curled up asleep.

Mo

Mo cracks me up. He loves hanging out all spread out. Eva really wasn't impressed with him!

Shark Yourself

Discovery Channel has a fun little tool to morph a photo into a shark. So I had to turn Eva into a shark. I don't think Mo is shark material.

Cleaning

Eva and Mo have really been getting along lately. They are hanging out together, and Mo really likes having Eva clean him. They got quite cozy in the front hall, and Eva really gave Mo a good cleaning. She's got a long tongue!

Snugglers

Mo has been going up to Eva and putting his head down so she can lick him. He was trying to get her to do that today, but she wasn't interested. They have really been getting along well lately and are almost snuggling.

Bird Entertainment

We've been getting a lot of birds since we put the feeder up. Sometimes the cats don't seem interested. Today there was a bird on the fence that just got them chattering up a storm. Meanwhile there were birds on the feeder, but I guess that's old news.

Evie sleeping

Awww...she's so cute. We rearranged the guest room, so we put her sleeping mat under the bed and she's found it to be a good napping spot.

New cat entertainment

Evidently the birds like the spring wreath on the door. Tony heard them chirping and flitting around in it the other day, and of course it startled skittish Moriarty. The birds are continuing to come to the wreath and now both cats realize this is happening. So you will occasionally see one, or both, of the cats sitting at the front door watching. The other morning I heard a loud thunk and I think one of the cats was jumping up to get at the window. We have a bird feeder on the back patio that they can watch from their cat tree, but I guess the front door provides a bit more fun.

Cardboard tubes

Mo has a weird way of playing. He's completely fascinated by cardboard tubes. He sticks his head in and then moves his paws around to find one of his toys. Sometimes he just leaves the tube on his head for a bit and looks around. Weird, but highly entertaining.

Bubbles

I hadn't tried bubbles on the cats in quite a while. Mo really thought they were fascinating. He chirped and snapped away at them. Eva watched from under the table, but really wasn't that impressed.

New Toys

Mo was temporarily fascinated by his new toy. He could almost stick his head in it, and there were other holes for his paws. Unfortunately the fascination was short lived, and he's not terribly interested any more.
